This was the second time I won the tickets from Magenta Music 360° for a concert they where promoting, this time to see Bastille. As you can guess, I was really excited, although I didn’t know I knew so much from the band already, but hey, the more I know the more I can sing along, right?

My Honest Review

Bastille got to open the GreenTech Festival in Berlin. Many of their songs spoke to me on a personal level, making me think of my past and future and realize I am not as crazy as I might think. Specially the song that gave name to their new album “Doom Days” and “happier” that I am sure makes most of us think about that special ex we wish the best but somehow can not forget.

Although Dan Smith resembles a mix of Adam Levine and an ex of my with less tattoos, his performance kept me and the whole crowd going for the whole concert and starring at the stage.

The whole band seemed to have fun and tried their best German to interact, even got of the stage into the crowd, and we all know how much I love when bands actually interact with the audience, so this was a huge plus for me!

Bastille played all of their well know songs starting with “quarter past midnight“, going through “Happier“, intercalating with songs from their newest album like “Joy” ending a perfect night with their first hit “Pompeii“.

They also made me feel like I was back int the 90’s/ early 2000’s with a nice remix of “The Rhythm of the night“, I felt like I was a kid again, just dancing around. What an awesome experience!

I will leave you with the song that makes more sense to me at the moment we are in the world, enjoy it 😉
